<description>Great Post Jim. More ads is always sucking.

I have a live example what has sucked me. I have been a ShareKhan customer for Demat and Trading Account (for share trading in NSE and BSE, India). I took sharekhan as its rates are low in comparision to ICICI Direct but when I log in to my account, there's a pop up coming for ad. I never look at the ad and close as soon as it open. I find it unnecessary and sucking.

Sadly I have to say, I agree with you but we can hardly change things now. After the Google's success story everyone is following this model and for cheaper cost we are bound to be satisfied with low quality customer service.
